#Trex Bedtime Story

So...I'm like a month late in posting this... *shame*

A while back, I had insomnia. And so I asked Twitter, "If you're awake and have insomnia clap your hands.

Many people were clearly awake.

And then, because I was sleep deprived, I decided it would be a FUN and AWESOME idea to host a CONTEST.

This contest was held for about 12 minutes or so.

And the results. Were. Hilarious.

Here's a sample of some of my favs:

The winners were Janelle Alexander and Pauline M. Campos :)

BUT -- I totally understand not everyone gets insomnia....

So stay tuned....I'll be hosting another contest, similar to this one, before the end of the summer!

Which was YOUR fave opening line?

KO

And if you haven't already seen it, enjoy this video created by my good friend Brittney about my moving experience last week:

Lyrics below:
There comes a point in each girl's life
Marks the end of the Triassic
When she feels the need for something more
A change that's truly drastic

Pangaea's really got her down
So she parts it at the seam
Time to leave Gondwana far behind
And move somewhere upstream

Being a T-Rex ain't all it's cracked up to be
Ever try to pack a box when your arms are this tiny?
Don't get me started about installing the A/C
Who needs a drill when you've got pointy teeth like these?

She called up her mammalians
And lured them into a van
She bribed them with a pizza if they'd lend a helping hand

They took two trips she had much more
Than a T-Rex probably needs
Like a mattress, I was so inclined to think she had a nest of leaves

Being a T-Rex ain't all it's cracked up to be
Try to intimidate when you're standing at a mighty 5 foot 3
But now she's turning a new leaf just wait and see
Tell the world to watch its back, she's coming
